About

Wildroot Forge grew out of a love for making things by hand, working close to the elements, and learning an old craft.

For me, blacksmithing is both practical and creative. It forces me to slow down, and work with the material. I find it very grounding and meditative; taking raw steel and transforming it into something both useful and beautiful.

My work is heavily inspired by nature; its textures, strength, and the way the material flows. Before becoming a blacksmiths, I studied Natural Resource Protection, and much of my background has been rooted in understanding and working alongside the natural world.

At the forge, I’m always learning, experimenting, and refining my craft while staying connected to traditional methods. Each piece is unique showing the tool marks and forge scale that is always different. I like handmade objects that have character, purpose, and a story.

Wildroot Forge began with encouragement from my community and a desire to share my work beyond the forge. I’ll continue adding new projects and one-of-a-kind pieces as they’re created, with the hope that they bring a sense of connection, beauty, and joy to those who use them.
